Short reports (usually 2 pages long) prepared by analysts, and sent to clients / contacts by the way of subscriptions and campaigns. Notes can be distributed manually in PDF form, through e-mail, or as web pages, possibly embedded within franchise web sites.
Franchises are organizations providing analyst services. Each franchise has one or more actual analysts responsible for creating notes.
Franchises can have custom tiers for their clients (such as “VIP”, “Trial”, “Regular”, etc.), they can implement different compliance workflows, connect to different information providers via RIXML, and connect to QuickBooks (if used). See franchise operations for details.
Accounts are consumers of analysts’ notes on the B2B level. They represent business entities that consume notes distributed through the platform, and are typically organizations interested in analyst-generated content. AnalystHub maintains and provides access to this account directory for all franchises.
Contacts are individual recipients of notes. They are people associated with specific accounts (one account per person) who may subscribe to campaigns from different analysts. Similar to accounts, the contact list is curated by AnalystHub and accessible to all franchises.
Campaigns function as mailing lists established and managed by franchises. These are essentially lists of contacts designated to receive particular notes or other communications.
Subscriptions are the actual products sold by franchises to accounts. They can be thought of as agreement between franchises and accounts, containing certain financial terms. They can manifest in multiple forms, including:
It is normal for an account to have multiple successive subscriptions to the same franchise (usually only one subscription of a particular type will be active), and to have subscriptions to multiple franchises.
See the documentation on creating subscriptions for details.
Invoices are directly related to subscriptions.
The platform simplifies invoicing processes for subscriptions and offers a range of payment frequency options (annual, quarterly, one-time, etc.) with the flexibility to pay in advance or arrears.
Opportunities are a way of tracking sales and onboarding of particular accounts to particular analysts, culminating in the creation of a subscription.
